About Me
My name is Mandie Miller, although I go by Miranda as well! I am married to the best husband and father, Joshua, and we have two beautiful girls, Isabella and Lillian. Before we started a family, I sold dumpsters for a garbage company and was a reporter on television (quite a juxtaposition huh?). I wanted to be able to stay home with my girls, and I wanted to bring in an income. Got What It Cakes started innocently enough when my brother, John, wanted a pool table groom's cake at his rehearsal dinner. I figured, 'it's a rectangle, it can't be that hard!' Of course, there were a few issues, but the end result was better than any of us imagined. That night, people said, "I didn't know you made cakes," and honestly, I didn't! But, it did spark an interest and I started doing specialty cakes for family and friends. I grew my business, tried out recipes, and figured out just where I wanted to go with this new found love. I'm so excited that I took that leap...my business is booming and I thank my lucky stars every day!
Mandie is a one woman show, and does not have any employees, so please keep in mind that it may take her a day or two to respond to email/phone call requests. She is most likely in her kitchen working on a fabulous cake...just like she'll make for you!!!

We are located in Charlotte, NC very close to Lake Wylie and the SC border. Got What It Cakes is registered with the NC Department of Agriculture, and my home has been inspected by the Health Department. Look at the Pricing page for delivery details!

I will say that email is the easiest way to reach me, as I'll probably need to email you pictures, price lists, and flavor lists, or you may need to send something to me! Plus, I like having everything in viewable form as far as the order is concerned; this is beneficial to both of us!
